These are the correct size (3 mm diameter x 6 mm lenght), 6V voltage and 70mA current for ALPINE head units from the early 90's.
 
They are used in almost every pull out head unit for LCD backlight, as well as green or amber backlight for the buttons.
 
To install them properly, follow the instructions:
Desolder the burned lamp
Cut the old lamp legs from the black pastic base and keep it for later
Gently remove the old bulb from the plastic base
Carrefully pry-off the green bulb cover and install it on the new bulb
Install the new bulb in the plastic base and bend the legs
Solder the bulb legs to the plastic holder pins
Solder back the lamp assembly in place
 
All these steps are not necessary if replacing a LCD backlight bulb (which does not have a plastic base).
