This Bluetooth module plugs into your ALPINE M-BUS compatible headunit and emulate the CD changer protocol to allow Bluetooth audio streaming.

Features a 5.0 Bluetooth® chip with aptX HD codec (supports 24-bit music quality). This mean you can enjoy CD sound quality over Bluetooth®. Measured bandwidth is 20 Hz - 20 kHz within -3dB. All you have to do is pair your phone and press the CD changer button to activate it.

Any ALPINE unit with the black 8-pin circular DIN CD Changer connector should work.

Also compatible with some Jaguar, Volvo, early Chrysler Dodge Viper head-units manufactured by Alpine.

Options meaning:

• Extra RCA connector: RCA output only, they provide sound signals for early Alpine units prior to 1990 like 5953, 7288, 7294, 7390, 7620, 7909. You will receive a module with RCA connectors fitted and a 50cm long RCA male-male cable.

• CD changer pass-through: this module is equipped with an extra 8-pin DIN input. This allow you to connect an existing Alpine CD changer in-line with the Bluetooth module. So you can keep your existing installation and enjoy both CD and Bluetooth from a single button press on your head-unit. Work on all models including early Alpine one (7288, 7390, 7909, ...). The CD changer input is a single 8-pin DIN. It won't work directly with the 5952S and 5959 CD changer (4913 adapter will be required).
